Objective:
This roundtable aims at debating the current natural gas scenario in Brazil by addressing changes that have been taking place in the market and price expectations in the medium and long term. Moreover, the potential for increasing consumption of natural gas in the steel industry will be discussed, taking into consideration the existing plants/processes and the core role played by natural gas in steelmakers’ transition into a low-carbon industry in view of NG-based direct reduction technologies
