Leaders forum
ESG agenda: Challenges, risks and opportunities of the new times
Date: June 07, 2022
Time: 16:30 - 18:30
Place: Auditorium Gerdau
Coordinator:
Vânia Lúcia de Lima Andrade - ABM´s advisor and consultant
Objective:
ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) stood out in the business agenda in 2021, this time, unlike other occasions, through the financial area. Swinging from the enthusiasm of some and the distrust of others, the expression has gained momentum in the wake of the pandemic, the world climate crisis, and the prevalence of social networks. The general view is that ESG is here to stay. The Leaders Forum’s purpose is to address the main issues arising from the adoption of the ESG agenda by companies in the mining and metals production chain. Executives from major industry players will participate in the Forum, whose focus is fostering in-depth, transparent debate and the exchange of ideas in line with ESG principles.
