Papers to be sent for publication should comply with the following formatting, with single space throughout the text,
Arial 12. They must be submitted in
Word format, A4 paper size, 2.5 cm margins, with
twelve (12) pages maximum. The first page should contain: title in English, abstract and keywords, title in Portuguese, abstract in Portuguese and keywords in Portuguese. Starting on the second page, the body of the paper, acknowledgements, bibliographic reference.
1 TITLE
Title – Bold, Arial, 16, all capitals, centered, followed by number one (1) superscript; in footnote, number 1 will indicate the event the paper is designed for, date and place of presentation.
2 SUBTITLE
Subtitle – Bold, Arial 12, left aligned.
3 AUTHORS
In italic, Arial 10, followed by superscript Arabic numerals in ascending order, starting at two (2), right aligned. These numbers will be used for the authors’ identification and degrees , and should appear in the footer, in italic, Arial 10.
4 ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS
Text with a
maximum of 200 words in a single paragraph. This should encompass the paper's objective, methodology, results, and conclusions. It may be: informative: describing the entire content of the paper; indicative: indicating to the reader the main points (used for review papers); indicative/informative: with more relevant aspects being lengthier.
Keywords: at the most four (4), which should be the terms used in bibliographic surveys, not literal translations from English, but the terms used in Portuguese.
5 TITLE IN PORTUGUESE, ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS
Translation into Portuguese of the title, abstract and keywords.
6 BODY OF THE PAPER
This should encompass the introduction, material and methods, results, discussion and conclusion.
The introduction should include the presentation of the paper, objectives and a revision of the literature.
Under material and methods, the materials and methods used should be described in detail, thereby allowing the research to be repeated by other researchers. Present the literature concerning methods. Describe statistical methods and their literature, if applicable.
Under results, these should be presented, including tables, charts and illustrations. The data should not appear in the text, but the table, chart or illustration where they can be found need to be indicated.
Tables should be sequentially numbered, with numbers following the word Table, and should have a clear, short title in the upper portion of the table. Illustrations (drawings, schematics, flowcharts, photos, graphs, etc.) should be sequentially numbered in Arabic numerals, following the word Figure, with a clear, short title in the lower portion of the figure. Tables and figures should appear as close as possible to the text to which they refer. The source of tables and figures should be indicated below them. The discussion is the paper's most important part. It should compare the results attained by the author to the results obtained by other authors, establishing relationships and concurrent inferences.
In the conclusion, do not mention incomplete papers; new hypotheses may be shown whenever they are well justified; recommendations may be included. They should be precise and clear, and based on the objectives of the study
7 ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Indicate individuals who collaborated in carrying out the research, technical assistance and institutions that funded any research.
8 REFERENCES
References should be numbered in the order they appear in the paper.

IMPORTANT
- Do not abbreviate the title of the paper and the authors' names.
- Charts/drawings must not exceed the page size (A4).
- Page background must be white, with no logo, watermark or the like.
- Closely follow the standardization norms for papers.
- Do not number pages.
- Do number figures and tables.
- Images, photos and illustrations must be saved and applied in JPG or GIF format directly onto the pages.
- Compacted files will only be accepted in Winzip for Windows format.
- When the paper is in any language other than Portuguese, the abstract in Portuguese followed by the keywords must be included in the first page of the paper
