The information for Symposium Chairmen/Guest Editors of a Journal of ASTM International STP  is an overview of how the peer-review system [PeerX-Press (PXP) http://jai.peerx-press.org] works.

The website is open to accept papers for this Symposium, and papers may be submitted at any point through the manuscript due date, July 26, 2010. Submission instructions are provided on the website for the authors.  

When a paper is submitted, the author will receive notification via email that the paper is in need of reviewers.  Two reviews of a paper are required, but we recommend that you enter at least one alternate reviewer in the event one reviewer declines and a third needs to be contacted.  The author will receive email from the system each time a paper is in need of attention.
