The papers submitted to this event must be unpublished in Brazil. The submittal of the abstract (submittal of summaries) nust be done exclusively on the following address:

Only the papers submitted up to appointed dates and in accordance with the norms established by ABM will be published in the event yearbook: www.abmbrasil.com.br/seminarios/normas.html
In addition to being published in the event yearbook, the papers presented in the event will be apply for publishing in the Tecnologia em Metalurgia e Materiais magazine, to be published in 2009.
Prize
The published and presented papers of ABM menbers in the event will be awarded by Automation Siemens VAI Prize, which consists in a one-week trip to Germany, for one person, with visit to Siemens VAI and to a German or Austrian steel plant.
