DEADLINE
Registration in advance to the Seminar shall be accepted up to May 8th, 2008 - Wednesday, 5:00pm. After this date and time, registration can be accepted only at the venue of the meeting.
REGISTRATION AT THE SECRETARIAT OF THE SEMINAR
• Form for payment: cash or credit card;
• Payment is being made by a company, via a bank, the participant shall be required to presente a letter from said company, authorizing that payment.
PROOF OF REGISTRATION
Presentation of a photo I.D. shall be mandatory in order to receive the Seminar material at the venue of the meeting.
INCLUDED WITH THE REGISTRATION FEE

Seminar:
Participation in technical sessions, lectures, exhibition room, coffee-breaks, lunch-breaks, social events (cocktail and barbecue), briefcase, booklet of abstracts, CD-ROM and seminar certificate.
CANCELLATION
These must be submitted in writing by e-mail. In the case of cancellation requested up to 10 days in advance of the begining of the meeting, that is to say, by May 2nd 2008, 80% of the total registration fee paid shall be returned. After that date, only substitutions shall be accepted. No-shows shall not be considered to imply automatic cancellation of any registration.
PRIZES AND PUBLICATIONS
The best papers presented at the seminar by members of ABM, will be running for prizes awarded by ArcelorMittal Tubarão - Steelmaking, Antonio Mourão Guimarães (Manufacture and use of refractory materials) and SIEMENS VAI Environment. Besides being published in the proceedings, will be considered to be published, after review, in the journals Tecnologia em Metalurgia e Materiais, Materials Research and Matéria - Virtual scientific journal on materials research to be published in 2009. The three journals are classificated in Qualis Brazilian program of CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior/MEC as level A, in Engineering II area (Materials, metallurgy, mining, nuclear and chemistry engineering).
