PUBLICATIONS
The works presented in the Congress, further to being published in the annals, shall participate on the contest for additional publishing in the Tecnologia em Metalurgia e Materiais, Materials Research and Matéria Magazines, in the year 2010.

TECHNICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT PRIZES
ABM associates, authors of the best technical contributions presented during events of the entity shall be awarded with Technical Acknowledgement Prizes granted by the Association and sponsored by associate companies.
The prizes solemn award takes place during ABM Congress.

The works will be accepted in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Contributions have to be unpublished works in Brazil.

RULES FOR SUBMITTING THE ABSTRACTS
Professionals interested in publishing technical works in the Congress will have to apply for them by filling the works abstracts application form available through ABM portal: www.abmbrasil.com.br/congresso/2009/resumos.

The author shall indicate the work presentation format, verbal or by poster, however the technical committee and/or the publishing board might change the framing.
Information about the rules for submitting the works abstracts is provided at www.abmbrasil.com.br/congresso/2009/etapas  as well as the steps to be followed until the actual acceptance for presentation in the Event.
The Congress technical committee will evaluate the works abstracts and full version, thus aiming to assure best quality of the event and its records.
The evaluations shall also be used as criteria to define a ranking of the best works thus enabling the authors to compete for the technical acknowledgement prizes, defined according to the work theme.
