Theme: High Resistance Micro-Alloy Steel
- High Resistance Steels used in production of large-diameter tubes manufactured by welding processes and electrical resistance (ERW), "UOE" pipe, helical pipes, seamless pipes.
- Introduction of market aspects, manufacture of rolled products: hot straps and thick plates, processes for production of tubes, technical laboratory developments and industrial tests, mechanisms for obtainment of properties, resources required for development and application.
- Industry cooperative projects – universities – research institutes.
