Scope: The maintenance is a strategic function of productive corporations. Within this context, topics related to maintenance management shall be permanently worked on. In this Congress, we intend to discuss, through presentation of projects, round tables and lectures on the topic “Maintenance Management” encompassing the following segments:

- Occupational safety and the environment

Coordinator: Ferdinando Luiz Cavallante - EPUSP

Scope: In environment management, companies pursue solutions for atmospheric pollution, treatment of industrial outflows and treatment of solid residues. These solutions aim to diminish or even eliminate the impacts from industrial operations on the environment, making them compliant with the environmental laws in force in the country and in regions where the companies are installed. The increasing importance attributed to this issues has made that we received a great number of projects both from companies and universities and research centers in areas like recycling and reuse of solid residues, reuse of industrial water, decontamination of industrial outflows, etc.

Scope: The meeting on systemic management is following closely the evolution of concepts related to quality areas, encompassing integrated management systems, leadership systems, competence and capability evaluation systems, experiences with workgroups and continuous improvement, intellectual capital, people management, quality in services, corporate governance, Six Sigma and TPM - Total Productive Management.
It is an excellence forum for the effective exchange of experiences between leaders and professionals with executive responsibility in the management of their organizations, consultants, auditors, academics, and technicians from companies of different areas that, in a way, work with the improvement in the quality of processes, products and services.
